HAMRA Construction

The Chairman of DeLaval Hamra Gård AB, Mr. Göran Sandström, turned the very first sod at the building site on April 3. Here he is flanked by the former Managing Director of the Farm, Mr. Gottfrid Eriksson, the present Managing Director, Mr. Ingvar Åstrand and Real Estate Manager, Mr. Björn Rispling.

On April 8, 2002 the work on removing the soil from the building site began.

Soil removal continues.

The work continued with excavations for pipes, pump, well, etc.

On May 21, the foundation for the walls was assembled.

The first wall unit was put in place on May 25. To this day there has not been one drop of rain since the construction start, which has made the job easier.

By the last day of May, all the walls had been put in place. Now it’s time to start with the roof truss.
