In choosing farms to feature, we are not necessarily looking for the newest or the biggest operations.  We instead want to feature variety, innovation, adaptation and uniqueness. Whether it be the traditional U.S. family farm in Vermont that has found a way to prosper in the new economy, the large free-stall operation in an arid climate, or the village milking system found in Southeast Asia, our intention is to showcase all that is unique about the dairy industry.

We are sure you will agree with us when we say “there is something to be learned from every situation”. The users of Milkproduction.com reside in over 130 different countries. Production methods in those countries obviously vary widely. By bringing you examples of operations from different parts of the globe we hope to acquaint you with your neighbors and how they get things done.
