Dairy management webinars

There are several on-line traning resources available, to support dairy producers, their employees and advisers in their daily work. One of them, the Technology Tuesdays webinar series from the Extension Dairy team at Penn State University, focuses on animal well-being and housing.

The Penn State Technology Tuesdays webinars

One segment of the series will explore the idea of cow-centered housing, where the focus will be design and evaluation of dairy housing from the cow’s perspective, particularly as it relates to cow comfort and well-being.

Cow-centered housing will be the focus of the October, November, January, and March webinars. Additional Technology Tuesdays webinars will deal with other dairy-related subjects, including safety, energy, and weather-related management.
